IT’S NOT ABOUT COMMUNION.

Look, right wingers are going to make it about Communion and make it the outrage of the day.

Normal people are just going to shrug and move on.

yeah it’s about the hit tv show The Bear of course, why is this even up for discussion?

Whitmer is wearing a Harris Walz camouflage campaign hat…how does that tie in with a show about a restaurant?

The official spin is as delusional as the mocking. It was just is doing a food meme…

…we totally weren’t denigrating Christians who believe Holy Communion, the Eucharist or the Sacrament is sacred... with a 37 year old dressed like Catholic school girl, wearing a polo under a sweater with bows in her hair, on her knees, and a chip place on her tongue by the female priest, I mean governor, like some demonic dominatrix ritual.

+1. The only people who care about this are weird and uncool.

Hey siri, how many Christians in the United States? Over 200 million.

Getting back to their flocks of advisors that must have seen this before it was posted. Are they so anti-Catholic that they don't have one Catholic advisor on their team who could have spotted the disturbing optics?

You don't have to be outraged to see what a bad political move this was.

There are clearly operatives in this thread testing and spamming official spin. The Detroit News just quoted some unnamed Whitmer staffer who mocked anyone outraged by this - only weird people are offended by this, according to Whitmer’s office. Whitmer is Harris campaign’s co-chair.

What if it's a just dumb video that's a play on another dumb video, which was first made by a late-night host? What if there's a whole machinery out there that's designed to find and amplify the angriest possible interpretation of something that in the end isn't actually worth anyone's precious energy or time?

What if we could just live our lives without feeding or responding to the constant outrage machine?

Agree but Dems started it first. Aren't Dems all exhausted from finding and taking offense again and again over every little thing?

Just taking a page out of their book....if they get to do it all the time we have the right to do it too.

Sure, you have the right. Of course. It’s your energy, your time, your life. But like mine, it’s finite. Do with that what you will. I hope you have a great night,

Yeah, I’ve suspected this for quite some time,

It's called an echo chamber for a reason. Dissenting views are harassment.

This video could end up in the history books next to Howard Dean's scream and Gary Hart's affair photo.

Explain why it offends you

NP. Are you particularly slow or something? I’m an atheist and this is an easy thing to figure out.

I'm Catholic, so is my family. Even my mom isn't offended. She asked what the video was for and it was odd but not offended. To each their own I guess. 🤷🏼‍♀️

The podcaster captioned the video saying it was about the CHIPS Act.

I’m a Christian and I thought it was hilarious.

Y’all just mad because your ticket is a flop
