Yep, I am amazed to see middle-aged moms with *rolls* of fat on them. It is good to take scare of oneself. |
That’s hard to believe. I am 5’4” and look sickly at 112 lbs. |
Yes, we can't have an adult human eating 100 calories in one sitting! I can go out for a 4 course meal, clean my plate and easily be hungry 3 hours later because thats how my individual appetite/metabolism work. I'm really not carrying a damaging amount of extra weight on my frame by just eating when I'm hungry and weighing 120. It beats eating like a toddler to maintain 105 pounds. |
Isn’t PP’s point that you can pick something else and get a whole lot more food than 1 cheese cube for 100 calories? |
Wow. It's almost like people have different bodies and carry weight differently. Amazing. |
I’m not sure what your definition of a cheese cube is…the ones that come bagged? Those are like 20 calories. |
Yes. It's why most people on DCUM give up and take Ozempic. |
Me too! I’m 150lbs and 5’8 and I put on about 6 lbs of muscle in the last few years. I wear 4/6 in most clothes and before I put on muscle, I looked really thin at 140-144. I am still thin and wear same clothes but the muscle definition and fat loss looks better. I don’t worry about the weight. |
I’m large frame |
What's hard to believe? That someone might be petite, with smaller wrists, feet and head than you? |
1oz of pretty much any cheese is about 100 calories at minimum. |
I'm 5'4" and look fine at 112 lbs. That makes me a size 4. Right now I'm 122 lbs and soft in the middle. I wear size 6/medium petite dresses and shirts because of my narrow shoulders and shorter arms. I wear a 34A bra so there isn't much in my chest. For pants I wear size 6 regular, not petite. I am pear shaped. When I gain weight it all goes to my middle. |
I'm 5'6' and 183. I could be 165 if I could tolerate hunger, but I already tolerate stress and fatigue in a corporate job so nah. |
I assume if you are thin and 50 either you don't eat when you're stressed, or being thin is a high priority for you. My priorities are my faith, my family and my job. My weight is not in my top 5 concerns. |
Do you have children who are teens and does your job stress you out? |
