Would you date a MAGA?

Trump is not a conservative. Trump is not a liberal. Trump is not Libertarian. Trump doesn't believe in God or Jesus. Trump is Trump. Trump believe in Trump. Mr Trump will push any policy that will bring him the biggest adoration praise and worship. And I think this where Dems miss a huge opportunity in his first term. If they had put their ego to the side and acted more pragmatically they could have passed any liberal policy if they showered him with praise and worship. The guy doesn't believe in anything and that's part of his appeal. Everyone thinks they can get something out of him.

You sure as hell don't have to tell me about Trump. Born/raised in NYC and I had family who knew Trump in the 80s/90s/00s. They were actually friendly with him, but the man is a trash bag whose most ardent supporters are people he wouldn't waste a napkin on if they were bleeding to death on his marble floor. Here's what a lot of MAGA don't get (and I'm including those of you who think your incomes/educations impress Trump): He wants nothing to do with you. If you're not from LA or NYC or NY/LA transplants to Palm Beach, he thinks you're a "hick." If his choices were between attending an Oscars party in Hollywood with a bunch of liberals or a luncheon for amputee War Vets (he's really disgusted by them), which do you think he'd choose? Heck, if the choice of a Hollywood party were one with George Clooney or one with Sott Baio, which do you think he'd attend?

The fact is that if you support someone as disgusting as him with NO redeeming qualities, then you have no self-respect, and get over the absolute stupidity of thinking this is even about politics or D vs R. It's about the fact that an absolute garbage dump of a man who represents the worst of a humanbeing, is now the leader of Lincoln's party. Every single accusation from those who worship him, is a confession. You go off about every liberal being a pedo when you worship someone Epstein had on speed dial. Anyone who supports that despicable man, clearly has a dark soul, but then, I see a lot of the pathetic clowns who claim he represents "American values" have f**ked up lives of their own, so of course the self-awareness is absent. I think of several supporters in particular who have multiple divorces and kids with drug problems...and they think the downfall of America is not THEM.

I then asked him about all the other issues affecting women etc? He looks at like I was crazy. He is a secret Trump voter. How many are they like him in Georgia, Arizona, Michigan, North Carolina? The women that Democrats are counting on in those states in the suburbs, are they also thinking along the economic line?

We will find out in November. I'm very curious to see the gender breakdown in those battleground states come November.

I am one of those secret Trump voters and my wife doesn't know. I also know other men like me here in VA. When we get together and the women aren't around we can freely talk. We don't worship Trump but we like his deregulatory mindset. I once saw a survey that showed how women were far more concerned about the climate than men regardless of party affiliation. Women naturally worry more about their children and their future than men..We men think our kids will figure it out regardless.

I still Biden will win by a small margin but Trump will be very close.

You're willing to vote for the deregulatory mindset at the expense of women's rights. You don't see how that would appear hostile to women?

I agree with you. So what do you want us to do? Do we always have to vote for candidates that are acceptable to women? If the Democrats and Biden tell me they will only stick to women issues and that's it I will vote for them. But no this is now what is happening. They are using women's issues as an umbrella with all kind of policies underneath. If I say girls born as boys shouldn't run track you know the lable for me. If I say we should steal have oil as a major part of our energy mix you know the label for me. If I say we should do something about illegal immigration you know the label for me. And so forth . But Democrats are using the singular issue of women to label all of us.

It isn't hard. I want you to prioritize women’s safety over politics. This really isn’t so complicated. Republicans have told us exactly what they want to do and you’re saying thats a fair trade for… deregulation?

The problem is that he’s not deregulatory for all - just for the highest bidder. And you ain’t the highest bidder. That’s why you’re not datable - you’re gullible enough to think he’d take care of you.

Nobody who’s voting for Trump thinks they need to be taken care of. That’s the failure in logic that some of you Liberals have. You think everyone is looking for the most generous Sugar Daddy when, in truth, most of us just want to be left to our own efforts and deeds.

You miss the complete irony in your comment. A Trump voter doesn't *think* they're being take care of, because they're in denial about being TAKERS.

We all know which states are the leech states. A Trump voter/red states have always been pathetically in denial when it comes to the handouts they get. It's why we saw how many MAGAs got PPP loans in the millions forgiven as they whine about student loan forgiveness. The problem with you people is you happen to be delusional when it comes to what you actually get handed....along with the "Family Values" crap. You want a perfect example of what it is to be a garbage Republican since Newt Gingrich turned the party into trash? Whenever there's a hurricane in some s-hole red state, blue state reps don't hesitate to vote to send fed. aid (aka HANDOUT). When Hurricane Sandy happened and NY/NJ/CT (who provided much of the welfare to those hurricane red states) needed money, the same leech red states that got BLUE state money to help them, had reps vote AGAINST the blue states getting their own money to recover. That's what it is to be on your side: Pretend most of those red states full of nothing but takers are the ones keeping NYC afloat.

Any educated, intelligent woman's choice to date MAGA is equivalent to self-harm. Like cutting or facial tattoos, it's a sign that something is broken and wrong in her.

MAGA likes physically attractive women with grace. Educated / intelligent is low on the list.

And yet Kellyanne Conway looks like she’s been microwaved, but is likely the smartest person in Trumpworld. Weird.

Uh no. The only MAGAs are those who hate women.

Trump is so unmasculine - I don’t understand why straight me are so adoring of him. The guy is a bona fide sissy.

I agree. The makeup and stupid hairdo alone, plus the whining and complaining like a big baby. No masculine strength or good character.

100%

His macho supporters are a bunch of men who’d love to see a sissy boy like Trump bone their wives while they huddle in the corner and stroke their tiny little dicks with their tiny little trumpian hands.

The only males who I know who are hardcore maga are the biggest losers I’ve met.

There’s a huge category of grudging Trump voters, who I disagree with, but I get it on some level. They simply don’t think Trump will be the end of our American experiment. Plenty of people look at the same events and draw different conclusions.

But the hard core magas are all big “cucks” as they’d say.

But I feel like it IS hard to maintain relationships with MAGA people - they have a super specific viewpoint and a hard time deviating from it - and a big part of the lifestyle is anger. Another big part is it’s almost like evangelical Christianity - you have to constantly be trying to preach it or you’re not doing it right.

I’ve dated and, ahem, enjoyed Republican women - people who have a different and sometimes completely 180 view on politics but we’ve always been able to agree on, like, Bud Light or Patagonia fleeces. I can deal with a friend, but I couldn’t date a MAGA woman - I feel like she wouldn’t be able to share so many of the things I like and value - television, books, etc

Btw, start your own thread if you want to talk about how hard it must be to date a Democrat, I don’t care to hear it.

Republicans/Trumpers don’t need to start a thread about their inability to date Democrats—the inability to date others with opposing political views is only a problem for “the party of love and tolerance.”

lol the Trump fanboys wrote articles in actual newspapers between 16-20 about how no one in DC would date them— but sure!

Reading comprehension not your strong suit, huh? That was my whole point - Rs are willing to date across the aisle but "the party of love and tolerance" (Ds) are not.
