He definitely could be her great grandfather, age-wise.

Hardly. He's 48 yrs older than her. Countless women on here think mid 40s is the perfect time to get pregnant and it's easy at that age. This is what you look like with your 20something kid as a 70 yr old parent.

In the schools where I work, getting pregnant at 17 is not uncommon for their families. At 73, grandmothers and grandfathers have great- grandchildren her age.

In the schools you work. This woman and Bill aren't in those low income poor environments. There are different bubbles out there and they don't do a lot of mixing.

Are you sure about her background?

Well she doesn’t have 3 kids by 3 different men at 24 so I'm pretty sure she didn’t graduate from PPs school.

I went to middle school in MD with a girl who wound up with 5 by 4 different fathers by that age- one was a set of twins

That would be a child and not a romantic partner.

Not the swipe you think it is

It’s not a swipe. Are you under the impression that the greater the income the younger the age as a first time parent? Older parents are the norm in some circles not 70 something great grandparents.

The poster said people look ridiculous with 20 something kids in their 70s.

This situation is a 70 something actually dating a 20 something. That’s a whole generation jump in ridiculousness

But a 70yr old great grandfather is not the norm either. It can easily be parent/child so it's not shocking or worth getting pearl clutchy over. This is a mutually beneficial relationship, as long as they are happy who cares?

There is zero chance I would have dated a 70yr old man when I was in my 20s. I'm sure she just keeps her eyes closed and thinks about the upside of this relationship and how it gives her a lifestyle she wouldn't otherwise have access to. Something for something.

This 20 something who participated in a Miss Teen pageant just 5 years ago is supposedly of at least average intelligence. If he's gross, then she's consciously making a gross choice for herself.

There's a two generation gap between them - he's a Boomer and she's Gen Z. He completely skipped over Millennials and Gen X.

A whole lot of ick. I wonder if he's suffering some sort of cognitive decline or is being actively blackmailed. The whole thing is super weird.

Haha my thought as well. Especially his peers. He looks ridiculous and it's so icky. But hey they're both adults.

His peers are athletes and people who have been around football their whole lives. He's probably getting high fives
