Those who are 5'4"- 5'5" what is your best weight?

100 lbs for 5 ft.
Add 5 pounds for every inch taller.
So 5'4 would be 120 lbs, 5'5 would be 125

That used to be my dance team weight requirement. We had to get weighed every week. Haha.

That's why this compare and contrast exercise is a little silly--it's all personal to how you look and feel, not an arbitrary number.

We know. We are not comparing, we are sharing.

I’m comparing. but I often do and struggle with comparing myself to other women.

Sounds about right to me. I’m 5’5” and would add 5 pounds to each of those numbers for me.

I’m 192, my highest was 215, so I feel okay right now. My best weight is 172.

Started at 110 in my 20s..had 2 kids.
About 122- 128 in my 30s
Early 40s- 135 -140 as a high
Mid 40s, dx with Hashimotos, goiter development- on Synthroid- 145
Late 40s-148 - 160
Lost some weight back to 144 lbs by age 50.
Early 50s, thyroidectomy and yep, afib.
Medication is now Synthroid and a beta blocker. Weight 165
Late 50s MENOPAUSE Woohoo-165 to 170

170 to 172 now at age 65. I wear a size 12. Size 10 shirt. This weight isn't budging at all. My diet is great, exercise regularly. I dont even eat 1100 calories in a day. I walk at least 4 miles a day.

Here's the thing. I'm alive.I look Ok- I am not considered "heavy" but I am not thin, and I know that. I've stopped worrying
about it.

I could have written above except my low was 116. Now at 60 and 172, size 14. I thought I was the only heavier DCUM on here!

Almost 5'5" here. Best was 125. Now at 150 and id like to be back at 140 and size 6. Now about 8-10 in pants and not thrilled. But at 44 its hard to lose without drastic diet changes.

Dang, I can't even make it to 5'4 to answer this.

Yeah I was starting to wonder when I'd be flamed for this. Glad I have a friend here.

100lbs is where I look best. 5'5", mid 40s, have 3 older kids. Lowest weight was 95lbs in my 20s. Heaviest was 115 when pregnant.

125 but hard to get there from 133, where I have been stuck since entering my 50s.

I hope you don't shame your daughters if one of them tips the scale at over 95 pounds.

My mom and I are both 5'4 and she loved expressing shock that I weighed 120 pounds as a teen. "That's what I weighed at 9 months pregnant and then I went back to 101!"

This led to me living on 600 calories/day and keeping my weight under 90 in college. (I got healthy and weigh 120 as a 50 year old).

135, but I’ve been 145 and still technically a healthy weight.
