I remember meals at restaurants in my college town being less than $5. We could hit any number of sit down restaurants and for $5 have a nice meal. That included the tip. I remember almost keeling over when I visited a friend in nyc in the early 90s and being stunned that the movie we were going to see was more than $8.

I haven’t seen a gyn in years because my previous doc retired. I had an appt with a new gyn and I don’t think she was 40. I could not stand the way she talked down to me and lectured me and never let me talk or ask questions. I’m afraid to even try.

I was in an employee relations training yesterday and was told that you have to be forty for an age discrimination claim to be considered. Just turned forty and this bummed me out for some reason.
