Sidwell Friends Boys Soccer

So if your school is focused on sports that is the wrong way?

Why so defensive? If you like your school and you are happy great. But don't put down other schools for having a different focus regarding athletics. It is a choice for parents and kids to attend a school that meets their academic and athletic needs. Some schools fit this need better than others. That does not mean these schools are not good, they just don't meet the requirements for that family.

What are you talking about? The referenced post wasn't defensive or a put-down of other schools. You appear defensive, though!

(My associations are with other schools in the leagues in which Sidwell is a member, and it seems like they are doing things the right way.)

This is the line in the post that I was referring to.

The 5-1 loss was a fluke. I was at the game and Sidwell dominated but just got unlucky as Churchill scored on 5 of 6 shots. Since this game they have gone 4-0-1 beating flint hill, potomac, wilson, and st andrews and tying GDS 1-1. Sidwell also beat bullis and bishop o'connell during preseason, so they should still have a good season.

I hope Sidwell has a good season - it will make up for all the crappy seasons they have in other sports like football and lacrosse.

You do know that they tied GDS last year too, right? As for pp's post, she said SINCE the Churchill game the team is 4-0-1. She's right.

Calm down, this sounds like a board discussing SEC football.
