Laura Ingraham’s ass covering has annoyed me every time I’ve seen these texts. No way in hell do I believe that she or Jr weren’t totally on board; they just panicked when it didn’t go fast enough.

I really don’t believe they minded violence so long as they were successful and quickly. When it became clear that the coup wasn’t successful almost instantly, they had to backpedal. I think Officer Goodman saved the country in a specific, pivotal moment and had he not led them away, the coup would have succeeded.
