I think there’s a twist on this where seniors are the ones who are auctiones.

Class of ‘96. Baptist school in Virginia.

Yes it was called senior slave day. There was a whole spread in the yearbook each year on it. A fundraiser for the senior trip.

We did not have a “slave day,” at our HS, but we had a “maid and butler” day where kids in “service clubs” auctioned themselves off to students of the opposite sex to carry their books, decorate their lockers, etc. It was a fundraiser.
