Price was $60,000 no money down and no trade in

F me, what is your credit score to get that 1.9% APR?

I just bought a $28k SUV with $8k down. My credit score is 820 and the lowest APR I could get was 4.75% for 60 months.

Oh, and my payment is $406.22/month. Forgot that part.

That post was from October 2021. You could get those rates before this past summer. We bought a car in the spring and got a 1.8% rate.

Good for you. CRV is a boring and loser car, but good for you.

Oh, you’re 12 and not old enough to drive. Got it.

What exciting winner car are you driving? Probably one that identifies you as a jack ass to 90 percent of people.

My guess Volvo xc90

I’m 6’4 I can’t fit in a RAV4 or CRV. That is the problem.

That is really silly. My husband is 6’6” and drives my CRV all the time. Our son, nearing his height now, fits in the back too. Come on now.

6’3” husband fits fine in CRV, RAV4 and Subaru Outback.

Why didn’t you put anything down?

Why do people keep reviving old threads for no good reason?

NP here. I don’t mind purchasing a used car with a balance of warranty but would never purchase any used car with 30k miles over new - assuming
there was no warranty. Don’t insult others by making yourself look smarter. You may be the bigger fool.

We recently bought a new car. Supply was low and prices were high. If you think new prices are high, you should see the used prices. Makes the decision to buy new easier. Our car was 32k. Used cars, that were a year to three years older, weren’t any cheaper when everything is factored.

When we first got married, we kept my car from college and bought one car. We paid that off as fast as we could and saved to buy a new car for me. We put about half down and financed the rest at 2.99%. Then we paid that off and saved for the next car and bought a 3 year old Acura MDX that we paid for in cash. Then we started saving for the next car.

So if you start making imaginary payments for the car you will have soon, you save on the interest later. Start saving for your next car now - even if it's a small amount. Put it in a CD.

Is $1k per month bad? seems like a normal car payment for a decent car. My last car was 1.3k per month.
