| We went last year in August, I believe, and they were awful. We want to go back but at a better time of year. When is better? |

Go in June, the jellyfish come out when the water is warm.

Hot water = jellyfish
Late July and Aug. |

The presence of jelly fish (sea nettles) in the Bay has mostly to do with salinity. The river flows are generally reduced later in the summer, and the salinity of the water increases, and the sea nettles can move up the bay. In a wet year, they may not show up much at all. In a dry year, they'll move up earlier. But in general, earlier is better.

| 16:07, thank you for such an informative reply! |
| Last year the jellyfish never went away. I am not on the docks this spring so I am not sure. Basically the farther you go out the better. They like warm water |
