| After taking antibiotics for a uti, I now have a yeast infection. I’ve been taking boric acid for 2 days. How long before I can expect to feel relief? |

| Boric acid doesn’t work for my yeast infections. BV, it helps overnight. I use 7 day monistat for yeast. |

Does 7 day monistat burn? I used 3 days once and the treatment was more uncomfortable than the infection. |

DP. Wow. I tried boric acid for yeast and I definitely started bleeding. It finally stopped and there was no rhyme or reason to it all. Anyway, mono stat doesn't work on me. I end up even worse. Since then I have used Fluconzole, which has worked well for me, combined with a combo anti-fungal/anti-itch ointment while the Fluconzole kicks in. |

How long does it take for your symptoms to be gone? I’m on day three and still burning. No bleeding though. |

| Call your doc and get fluconazide they will give it to over the phone I bet. |

| OP here reporting back in case anyone in the future has this problem. Last night I tried sleeping with Greek yogurt on a maxi pad and some inserted into my vagina. It was so relieving. Symptoms were 95% gone by the morning. I will probably do this for two more nights. $4 on yogurt. Some of the best money I’ve spent! |
