Tips for sandles and stink?

I have a few pair of summer Sandles that I’d like to wear but they make my feet smell. How do folks deal with this? Is there a product? They are too scrappy for no show socks or anything like that.

Have you washed the footbed? You can use something like Nikwax Sandal Wash on leather and synthetics

I think you need to toss those sandals and get some others. Once they stink, they stink.

I've heard you can put shoes in a ziplock with baking soda, and stick them in the freezer, to de-stink. I've never had that work but maybe you will.

I agree with the bolded. I've never been able to get stink out of shoes once it sets in. I've soaked shoes in a strong bleach solution for DAYS and then set in the sun to dry. The stink comes back within 1 wearing. Sorry OP, but those shoes are toast. Do they happen to be Keen sandals or other foam-bottom type of athletic sandal? Because those seem to get completely disgusting within a couple of wears. My kids had those and I couldn't even bring them inside the house, they started to smell so bad!
