| You just got this feeling. Experiencing it now, and I don't know what to make of it. |
|
Nope, but I envy people who believe in astrology, dreams, serendipity and cellulite diminishing creams. |
| I hope your feeling comes to fruition, OP! |
| I know whether someone is "good", "bad", or neutral upon meeting them. When I get the "bad" signal, I trust it and don't spend energy trying to figure out why. When I get the "good" signal, I am more likely to want to get to know the person. Most people are neutral. I only had that feeling you describe once...the first time I saw my now dh. |
| I knew the first time that I saw my husband that he’d be in my life forever. I haven’t experienced that feeling again but it was an instant knowing. |
Yes. Many times and it's never failed. I have also had instinctive feelings about people to stay away from. I had a job interview with a company with my dream job but when I met the president of the company, I recoiled. I knew he was bad news. Long story short, I turned down job and a few years later heard that he had a mistress whom he murdered and then killed himself. |
|
OP here. Yeah I've had the feeling of a person is bad news before and I've had good feelings about others.
It's weird and different because it's for lack of better word stronger. |
| Yes, I've made a couple of close friends with people who gave me this feeling.upon meeting. |

I used to travel a lot for tennis training /tournaments. Mostly by myself.
I once checked into a hotel mid afternoon. Immediately creeped out by the man at registration desk. Brought my bags and gear into room. Sat there for 10 mins trying to decide if I was overreacting. Could not shake the feeling. Carried my stuff back to my car and found a different hotel. I watch way too many true crime documentaries and listen to podcasts. Just had to trust my gut. |
| It’s a hunch, but yes. I knew almost immediately. Lean in and enjoy. |
|
Examples would be good. Is this a new acquaintance you have good vibes about?
|
| Yes, I've made a couple of friends who gave me this feeling and it was accurate. I only had that strong feeling that you describe once. |

When I started a new job in 2022, I could tell that the boss was a great person. It wasn't a feeling at all.
I found out about a higher position, and he helped me with mock interviews (not just him but the whole staff in the section). He also taught me how to be nice but demanding in my work. Thanks to his encouragement, I will start a new position that pays 40K more in the summer. |
Oddly enough I had the exact same experience the moment I met my wife in college. Never had something like that since then. |
I have. I had that instance feeling when I met my husband and only once since. |
