| Was anyone else there? My son had an interesting experience and want to see if others did as well. |
| Interesting ? |

What a nightmare for WU.
Not to get sidetracked here, but I truly do not understand what these particular protesters were thinking. How could disrupting this admitted student event help advance their cause or impact or improve this very complicated conflict? It seems counter-productive at best, and more likely just destructive and foolish. I don’t understand. |
| That’s what student protesters do everywhere - find the biggest forum. No surprise |
| Wow I wonder if that is a result of last years admission season. This year they seem to be turning back but the damage may be done. |
| This may have lingering consequences |
| That's unfortunate. There was some protesting going on at Chicago too but was localized at the main quad and was not disruptive at all. |
| They are heavy WL users….might go to AL early if this is a big enough turnoff. |
| ??? |
^^ “Might go to WL early” |
| Meh. Happens to colleges across the country |

You reap what you sow. If you let the protests go on anywhere at any time then this is one of the issues. You cannot control anything. Not in a meeting, not at a graduation, not at admit day, not at someone’s private home.
I want to point out that I find it really troubling that the protests consist of people beyond students at Wash U and that they also are made up of outside of student adults. |
Who said this protest was allowed? |
| All the protests have been allowed all over campuses national wide with no regard to any specific situation or location. There has been very little pushback at all. |
