We have only ever had beige leather and we've found it fairly low maintenance. Currently looking at some options with black or very dark gray leather - I'm wondering if this shows every little speck of dust and dirt and is harder to keep looking clean? Can anyone who has had both compare the two?
Thanks. |
| I’ve never noticed that. I think mine is fake leather though. But it’s dark. |
| It's fine but it gets hot AF in the summer. |
| I had light tan leather in my last car and now have dark gray - I can definitely see dust/dirt/hair more often on the dark leather. It's very easy to wipe clean/dust with a soft cloth, and I do like that it hides other kinds of marks (coffee splashes; jean dye). That said, if you can't see it, you're not cleaning it up... |
| Please make sure it’s pleather. Most are now except for really expensive cars. Cows or other animals don’t need to be skinned for our cars. It’s barbaric. |
These are not luxury brand cars we are looking at so I'm not too worried that that leather is real. |
