Looking for a biscuit recipe like Mason Dixie

I do not like the microwave version that Mason Dixie sells. I would like to try and get good at making my own. Any recipe suggestions that are similar.

This is going to sound awful but I think the best biscuits come from McDonald’s. They’re cheap if you just want to pick some up and not bake.

Mason dixie... is not good at all! Do people still like them? I get that they're a local business, or used to be, but their food seems over processed, expensive and too dense
