Hi,
Does anyone have any BTDT, first hand experience taking a teen with CP or similar physical disability to KD? He’s in a power chair—I’m not really worried about getting around the park. We got all the pertinent information from KD and someone will meet him when he arrives to decide what rides he can go on, based on their criteria. He doesn’t have great trunk control (but does have some), so I think his ability to go on specific rides will hinge on that. I’m not really looking for technical information about contacting KD. Just any insights about what your kid was able to do at KD or really enjoyed. Anything to be aware of or any advice. Or just information about your experience. I know everyone is different, but other people’s experiences are still informative. TIA! |
