This house's kitchen makes my head hurt

I don't understand this kitchen. A million dollar home too.

Very poorly designed. The island is a blocker - fridge on one side, stove on the other

OOOFFF the west end, no thanks.

that's scary that's a million dollar house. I think it's the camera angles, not the kitchen. It's a very cheaply done kitchen in terms of cabinets that they are trying to make look nicer with the appliances. There are too many can lights and those floor tiles are ULGY. Change out the floor tiles and add some color to the walls and it would look better. Or, paint the cabinets a color.

You have to walk around an island to get from the stove the fridge? Someone has never cooked anything before designed this.

Designed by a man or someone who does not cook. What is the point of that island except to get in the way?????

There are a lot of flooring styles in that house!

There's too much cheap quartz and gray paint contrasting with warm wood tones throughout the house, but it's not horrible. A change to a warmer, lighter paint and maybe different hardware would help. So much worse out there.

Sport Court is a rare find

I dont hate the materials or the colors, but the layout is def awful. The island is placed very poorly, looks like it will get in the way of literally everything, since the walkable areas are quite narrow in there.

The sink and rangetop are on one side of the island, and the oven, microwave and refrigerator are on the other. just brutal.

The funniest (and saddest) part about this thread are the people focusing on aesthetics, and not functionality.

I like the floor, but it doesn't match with trendy gray. Also, that's a starter home with bad schools.

I actually dont hate it?

I get that the island is in the middle, but I dont think I've ever gone straight from the fridge to the stove. I would set things on the counter first, and then start cooking.
I wish the sink was not smack in the middle though.

I might think differently after living in it, but I dunno, doesnt seem that bad overall lol.

When my husband and I were house-hunting a couple years ago, we saw a flip at this price point where they had put the oven above some cabinetry such that the handle was even with the top of the door frame. They made sure to put in a wine fridge though.
