Has anyone received the invitation to Mosaic's AAP orientation? The new AAP Notification email states that "The school(s) where your student may receive full-time AAP services will reach out separately to let you know about dates and times of orientation meetings." But I have yet to receive an email from Mosaic even though this is an option for my child.
Thanks! |
Whether or not you receive a timely email about AAP orientation tells you valuable things about the culture of any given center. We got ours (different center) a couple days ago. |
we haven't received |
Good point! I am taking notes |
We received an email from our base school that had info about both local and center orientations - made it easier. |
Does the center school send out an email to parents whose kids are already at center school? Can those parents attend the orientation too although they already know their center school? |
Yes our center invited all AAP eligible families. |
When we were at Mosaic (a few years ago) I recall separate orientations for kids already attending and kids eligible to come to the center. |
Mosaic Elementary, our AAP Center School, will host a virtual Level IV Orientation on May 1st at 6:30 pm. An email with the virtual link will be sent soon.
From our base school |
Can children attend? |
It is virtual |
Everything at Mosaic is virtual |
Mosaic is what they call the area formerly called Merrifield where there was the drive-in? |
Mosaic Elementary = old Mosby Woods Elementary (located across Blake Lane from Oakton High School). |
No Mosaic ES is the formerly called Mosby Woods ES, near Oakton High.
We haven’t received any emails from Mosaic yet. And that’s disappointing to hear orientation will be virtual, we were hoping to see the school |
