MSI at Fairland park

I’m new to soccer. 2012 DD and we live in Burtonsville. I’m not trying to drive to west Moco in rush hour 2-3x a week.
I saw MSI has a practice location at Fairland park. Does anyone know anything about it?

Are you interested in rec, Classic, or travel level?

MSI reserves a huge number of practice permits for their rec and Classic programs, and then internally assigns the permits based on coach preference. MSI holding the permit doesn’t guarantee which (if any) team is practicing there. Their travel teams likely practice at Julius West or on another turf field they hold the permit for.

MSI tries to do rec team assignments by neighborhood/school cluster, so if you’re interested in rec for the fall, you will likely be assigned to the closest neighborhood or school team (pending available roster slots) and hopefully the practices won’t be too far from you.

Classic, you try out for teams specifically, so you could restrict the teams you consider by their general practice location.

Travel, I’m sure you can just email MSI and confirm where the travel teams practice.

OP here I think travel. I’m not sure what classic is.
We’ve been at OBGC rec for 3 seasons now and my kid loves it. Just looking ahead to next fall.

Classic is a step between rec and travel. You might have more practices per week than rec but your games are more local than a travel league. And the competition level is higher, generally.
