Suggest some small qty packets of snacks for bunch of kids.

Anonymous
My kids are getting old enough that there are too many comings and goings of kids. If they are playing at our place, I want to keep them fed.
Usually this bunch of parents allow play only after lunch/meals are done at home so I don’t need feed meals.
My kids only have 2-3 snack items they like and we buy them in bulk. I pour them out into plates but I have been throwing any leftovers. Thinking I should just buy small packets of various snacks so kids can pick what they want and things don’t go to waste.
That said, my kids don’t tell me what their friends might want. Any suggestions?

Why not porion out the bulk snacks into mini bowls instead?
Less wasteful.

How old?

I think goldfish, pretzels, string cheese, cutie oranges are good for little ones.

We do mixed nuts from Trader Joe's (or Whole Foods), and my kids love the snack packs of dried mango. They also like the little packs of olives at TJ's. I'll toss the peanut butter pretzels in small containers and hand those out.

OP hasn’t said the ages. But if they are going to have friends over to eat all the other things suggested on this thread, they are old enough to handle popcorn.

I just get whatever large boxes of snacks catch my eye at Costco or whatever is on sale. Right now we have Clif kids bars, Fig bars, gummy bears, SunChips, Popcorners, pocky sticks, animal crackers and Oreos. Kids are always at our house so we stay prepared for an onslaught of hungry boys.

+1

We host a ton of play dates and it makes it so easy to have a few different Costco snack boxes on hand. We buy a lot of the skinny pop individual bags.
