Keene Mill and West Springfield Elementary

Anonymous
Can anyone provide insight or experience with Keene Mill AAP as well as local level 4 at West Springfield Elementary School. What is the stress/pressure like at Keene Mill, as well as the sense of community? And anyone who has attended local level 4 at WSES, can you please provide some information into what their program is like

We have friends who had kids at Keene Mill and liked it, but their base was not WSES. They said the administration seemed organized.

My DD's center school is also Keen Mill and our base is Kings Park. I'd like to hear more about Keen Mill!

Keene Mill is our base school and we've had two in AAP. It is an organized school, good administration, and a well-established center school with experienced teachers. My kids have had a great academic and social experience there (except for the 2021 school year that was rough at every school).

In 4th grade, some kids come from the base schools after trying 3rd at their base LLIV school and some kids return to their base school. Overall, the classes move along and some kids have a hard time with the pace, especially in Advanced Math. It isn't one of the center schools that have Level IV classes that are indistinguishable from the gen ed classes.
