DC's car safety seat program

Anyone gotten a car seat recently through the DC gov program? Curious to know what models they offer. I've been trying to figure out how to set up an appointment to get a voucher. We need to move on from our infant car seat very soon, if not yesterday.

I thought they used to publish which seats they offered, but I can't find anything online. You could call Children's National or Mr. Walker at the Half Street Inspection Station (he's wonderful!) and ask for details. https://ddot.dc.gov/page/car-safety-seat-program

For anyone who stumbles upon this later...

You can go to DDOT HQ for a voucher weekdays 9-3PM (excluding holidays). You do not need to schedule an appointment in advance. I wanted to share since we spent over a month trying to reach anyone at DDOT or associated with the car seat program trying to figure out how to set up an appointment, when it turns out they accept walk ins. So hopefully I can spare others the headache.

What models did they offer?

I went to a car seat event last year and they were all evenflo models. The post infant bucket seat was the evenflo sonus 65. The CPSTs were very helpful.

Do they give you the car seat at ddot or just the voucher?

Just the voucher. You can redeem to get the car seat at a few places. Most convenient is nearby at the DMV on half street
