This is school dependent. At DD's school, kids were invited. They got the same tour as the parents, and then went to the gym for fun and games while the adults went to the cafeteria for the presentation.

| If the orientation is just for parents, you can ask if it is possible for your child to visit the school another time. They might say no. But it’s worth a shot to ask. |
