Since when is this legal?
I'm seeing tons of cars with the drivers window tinted enough that you can't see the driver at all. Isn't this a safety issue for both drivers and pedestrians? |

It’s probably not legal in here. The rules in other states like Florida where it’s sunny and hot year round are different.
Problem is most Police don’t carry tiny meters and therefore can’t enforce the law/write tickets for it. State Police do. Not sure about DC Police. |

| In virginia you can tint the rear windows to 35% and the fronts (not windshield) to 50%. I tint my cars to a uniform 35% and never get hassled about it. With a dark interior, the windows look pretty dark from the outside, but they don't impede visibility at all. |
