| What do you get as thank you gifts? When flowers or wine or dinner do not seem like enough? |
| a $300 to $700 arrangement of flowers and a nice handwritten card are always enough. |
|
$700 for flowers?
I am poor. |
|
A box of Laduree macaroons and a bottle of champagne.
|
| ^^ macarons |
| I love flowers but I hope no one ever buys me a $700 flower arrangement. What a terrible waste! |
For that much money, get the forever flowers. https://www.venusetfleur.com/collections/seasonal-arrangements?g_acctid=900-830-7879&g_adgroupid=&g_adid=&g_adtype=none&g_campaign=Brand-PMAX-Product+Push&g_campaignid=20386076314&g_keyword=&g_keywordid=&g_network=x&utm_campaign=20386076314&utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=google&tw_source=google&tw_adid=&tw_campaign=20386076314&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwwr6wBhBcEiwAfMEQs2PYy1MAo9WC3uYQUqPVhL07xYx8nMVaq5Q-jTKkxGiHWQ2cJ1ZCkRoCsOcQAvD_BwE |
| For $700 I expect a landscaping crew to show up and plant flowers. |

OP
Being a person of who you describe, I would hope simple flowers or a handwritten card would be enough. I have a friend who would love special chocolates or chocolate chip cookies. She also is in the crowd you speak of. Trader Joe's flowers are fine. It is the thought that counts and if the person you are giving them to feels slighted that is on them doesn't matter how well off they are. Not all people are snobs. |
I am not poor and $700 on flowers is such a waste. |
|
Does the person have any interests (cooking, golf, tennis, movies, books...)? A little info on that front would be helpful for a customized gift.
|
Nobody wants that. |
What does a $700 arrangement of flowers look like?
|
+100 that's a waste |
| If you know what they drink, buy a nice bottle. It always eventually gets enjoyed. |
