Does class of 2033 seem fake?

Does the number class of 2033 just seem fake? I still can't believe its already in 2024, but anything pass 2030 seems fake.

It is fake. No one knows if or when anyone who is nine years away from graduating will graduate. The only time I've seen "Class of 2034" (my kid's potential graduation year) is on a target fund for a 529.

Can you even fail a grade from K-8? only time you might be able to fail classes and then a grade is high school.

Once upon a time I remember numbers like "class of 2015" feeling fake, when I was fresh out of college.

It will seem normal enough when your kid is graduating. This is just part of aging.

Yeah - it’s crazy but true.

Both of my kids are supposed to graduate high school in the 2030s and it does sound crazy. I remember when we all realized in elementary school that we would graduate in the year 2000 and how crazy that sounded. It will seem less crazy in another 4 to 5 years. One day our kids will be saying things like “I was a 2020s kid”. Or maybe just “20s” kid since anything in the 1900s sounds to them like ancient history in the way I think of the 1800s.

It would be today's 3rd graders. It seems like my grader was a baby so recently and in another 9 years it will be Pomp and Circumstance time. Class of 2030 is already in 6th. grade.

I hate my kid’s graduation year - 2031. Ugh.
