Best priced car wash?

Anonymous
Everything seems ridiculously expensive. Preferably in Arlington or Alexandria but I’ll go out farther if needed. I posted this in off topic but I think the front page moved too fast and no one answered. Thanks!

Bucket + Soap + sponges/towels + hose.

Ok but I live in the city and it’s not all that easy for me. Is there an alternative?

The car washes are not "expensive", you just can't afford them or are choosing not to spend your money on them. The cost of things are not going to line up with your salary, that isn't how things work. Maybe find a way to increase your salary.

Just go thru the quick brushless at the local gas station.

How much is “expensive”? I went through the wash at the local Sunoco and I think it was $8 or so. Flagship was $14.

Our favorite was always Yates Car Wash on North Henry Street in Alexandria. Not sure of their prices these days (we moved), but friends still go there.

Sonic Wash in Falls Church is the best close to Arlington. if you're ever out in MD, Touchless car wash in Gaithersburg

+1
All the gas station car washes, Flagship and the like do a crappy job at best, and cause damage at worst.

Car wash prices are based on location and brand. So I tend to get my car washed when I travel to bigger but less expensive car wash facilities like in Winchester or Baltimore versus inside the beltway where you are paying for location.

Sure, but the OP didn't specify anything other than "best priced".

The OP is looking for another option since he/she lives in the city.

Yes, this is what I was looking for! I don’t really care if it scratches my car a little, I drive every other week at most so my car (that I bought used) is more of a nice to have than a must have. Just saying I’m not terribly precious about my car. I park outside my row house and at this time of year just want to go through a car wash in gas station somewhere every once in a while to get the pollen/petals off. The problem is I am not very familiar with the suburbs so I don’t know which gas stations have car washes and it’s not easily found on google. I end up going to Mr wash or something which seems expensive at $25/$35 dollars. I wouldn’t mind paying more if I was doing more than just going through a drive through.

So, maybe I phrased this question wrong. Where are there drive through car washes attached to gas stations? Thanks everyone.
