Infertility Support and Discussion
| Has anyone done a frozen egg transfer with Dr. Sacks? Can you share with me your protocol? Just nervous about the FET in general, not Dr. Sacks. Would love some reassurance. |
|
I have done three with Dr. Sacks and they were all natural cycle FETs. I would start monitoring around day 9 or 10 until I had an LH surge, then I would go in two days later to check my progesterone. We would then do the transfer 6 days after I ovulated.
I don't have any experience with a medicated FET. |
| I've done 2 FET cycles with Dr. Sacks, both natural cycle. It consisted of bloodwork every other day until ovulation had occured, with occasional ultrasounds early on to check status of lining and otherwise ensure that cycle was normal. Transfer was 5 days after ovulation. |
| I did a medicated FET with Dr Sacks in July 2007. I had a failed fresh cycle on June 27th and then got my +ve on my FET on July 27th so that is how long the cycle took. If I recall, no shots occured and just a simple pill every day through to transfer and then of course progesterone. I don't seem to remember more than one u/s. I just remember it was incredibly non-eventful compared to all that went into a fresh cycle. We transferred 2 and have 2 yr old twins. Wishing you success also. |
19:50 - did you use assisted hatching? anything else noteworthy? over/under 35? acupuncture? i'm not OP, but i too have many questions thnx!

| Just got results of a natural cycle FET (not with Dr. Sacks) but it was easy with monitoring every day starting at day 8 and trigger shot on day 10 transfer 7 days later, we got a + |

19:50 here.
yes we used assisted hatching. i was 34 and my dh was 36. it was secondary infertility due to MF. acupuncture for the failed fresh cycle BUT not for the successful FET. 2 six day blasts were transferred. i would be glad to answer any other questions. |
