I went to greenbelt and have the fondest memories of my childhood

It’s a very diverse school with ample classrooms sizes for children

It’s Tucked off the street and playground is located in the back with fields, black tops

Of course this was eons ago, however, I have kept my friends since elementary and we remember our teachers till this day


I am sure things have changed however, I know that the area is very safe and pulls diverse group of kids

Any updates on Greenbelt ES? Is it well run? Safe? Do teachers come back year after year? Are the academics strong?

Greenbelt ES is going down hill. The new administration is horrible. I know several ppl who have pulled their students, even mid year, to get them out. My students thankfully missed the admin change. But I can tell from community involvement and parent chatter that GES is no longer the shiny point of pride it used to be.
