What day after ET did you get your positive HPT?

| I plan on testing before my beta, but don't want to test too early. What day after the embryo transfer did you test and got your positive HPT? |

| One cycle was 6dp5dt and the other was 8dp5dt. I think 11-12dpo is a safe range to start testing. |

| I got a positive 5dp5dt, but I wish I had waited another day or two because I couldn't get excited because I thought maybe the HCG trigger shot was still in my system. It was a true BFP, but I wasn't at all confident that this was it. |

My experience is that you should get an accurate result when the day of your transfer plus the # days after that add up to 12 or more. So if you had a 3 day transfer 9 days later, 5 day transfer 7 days later. Make sure to pee on the stick when you first get up in the morning.

| OP here. I tested 9dp5dt and it's a negative. Really disappointed, but at least have enough time to prepare emotionally for the bad news after my beta test next week. |
