Accepted in all four. Can't decide. Econ major.
Johns Hopkins, no question! A top 10 college.
Yes, Hopkins is at least a tier above the other three.
But not for econ, they obviously are doing something in business thus Emory is the choice here.
For business Emory is head and shoulders above the others. It's also in a better city than WashU and JHU.
Emory for econ
WashU for econ!
Have you visited? All good options. DC should pick one where they feel most comfortable.
Business is not Econ. (different schools within the University) |
WashU. Strong economics dept plus it has strong liberal arts program for a well rounded education.Very easy to change majors/school if you ever decide to change majors. Beautiful campus and surroundings - borders on Forest Park
Decidedly Hopkins. And I am a proud Emory alum.
OP, asking random people on DCUM not particularly helpful with this type of question. They’re all great colleges for undergraduate economics (but you already knew that). Just try and visit and decide
BC. Beautiful campus.
|
BC is not the best of the 4 for Econ.
Wash U has no prestige Hopkins is where fun goes to die. Emory all the way, Atlanta is a cool city. |
JHU is most high ranking overall. Emory has strong business school although econ is not exactly business. WashU offers great well-rounded education but the location is not the best. BC has a great location and great school spirit.
