Are you into the artistic creative types who like music and literature or the science-y nerd types who are into engineering and STEM?
Who make better husbands? Pros and cons of each? |
| You realize that people are complex beyond this -- right? What are you looking for here, a bunch of stereotypes? Well, you'll probably get them... |
| It’s completely depends on the man. My dad and husband and both electrical engineers. My husband is a wonderful husband, my dad was not wonderful to my mom. |
| Men who don't marry idiots. |
| Plumbers… They can lay some pipe! |
| Sciency men IME |
|
Better husbands in what sense? In bed, loyalty, emotion, partnership, parenting, commitment, financial contribution?
|
| I mean... do I have to pick one? My DH is an engineer, a musician, and has other creative hobbies as well. |
I don't know if the women on this site understand that women are complex, but they definitely don't understand that men are. |
| I'm going with science-y. My last long-term boyfriend before current DH was an artist (a painter). Very moody and difficult. DH is a nerdy engineer, and the least moody person ever. I went out with him mainly because he was so normal by comparison. |
Speak for your own DH. Mine is not very complex. |
Better humans make better husbands, their major, degree or field or hobbies are irrelevant. |
| Doctors tend to make poor husbands due to delusion of grandeur and lack of time. |
I am looking for an engineer or a scientist! Please. I like nerdy and logical. |
meh. Lawyers are a “stay away.” |
