UVA: AP credit for foreign language gen ed requirement

| This question is for current or recently graduated Hoos... if I got a 3 on my French AP exam, since the UVA AP credit calculator says that score exempts me from French 2020, does that mean I don't have to take a foreign language at UVA, and I don't have to take a placement test either? |
