UK universities crank up the tuition for International Students

Anonymous
So Oxford has increased tuition fees from about 20k sterling a year to 38k and almost 50k on some courses
Others have increased fees for STEM and STEM adjacent majors from about 20K sterling to 30K sterling

There are exceptions, where humanities courses have been raised only slightly from 19k to 23k but many UK universities whose UK based fees remain at 9250 sterling as per Gov't mandate, are looking to cash in.

Look it up yourself - go to a university website, find "international" then "fees and funding"

each university lists these separately.

LOL. So, you have no evidence to prove that the fees are increasing dramatically YOY as per your claim?

Yes I have all the evidence. As do you with your access to this remarkable invention called the World Wide Web.

We looked at Cambridge a few years ago. Between tuition, university and college fees, it wasn't cheap.

Some other UK universities offer some merit aid.

Come on, you know that's not how it is supposed to work. You're just a tease.

It hasn’t been 20gbp for a long time. Just talking tuition alone, which is what I assume OP means.

This. If you post it, either include the link initially, or include it when asked.

https://www.ox.ac.uk/students/fees-funding/fees/rates

You can enter different courses and different entry years to see tuition costs. Can we stop squabbling now?

That’s a UK university, not UK universities. Harrumph.

This absolutely makes sense given the UK government refuses to increase tuition fees for home students. But challenge will be not to compromise quality of international students.

OP here. I wish I could give you one "link" to answer all your questions, but this information came out of a day searching the various UK university websites, not from one solo source. If you are interested in any of the Uk universities, look them up and find this for yourself, or email the admissions people and ask. That's what I had to do with one or two of them where the information was difficult to find online.
