HI!
I need an upper body/ face makeover! That's all I can afford now. I have thick dark hair and usually go to Ozuki Salon in Georgetown. I asked my stylist for an inverted bob last time I went and while it looks nice, there is barely an angle and she didn't do anything special with the back. She didn't thin out my hair so it looks like a big mushroom. Also, I have ben dying my own hair using those dyes that claim to get your hair lighter but every time i do a home-dye, my hair turns out dark. Now it's almost blakc. I look so dull and sad. I am having ome self confidence issues right now and need suggestions on a stylist who can give me an awesome bob and a cool hair color with highlights. Know anybody? TIA |
Richard Lloyd-202-237-8022...he is great with color |
hey I had my hair too dark from overcoloring, I bought color opps at Rite Aid after reading hundreds of reviews on walgreens.com and other places. I had done medium brown instead of light brown and it made my hair look black. It took out the too dark color and restored my hair to the color before it was too dark. I still ended up going to get it professionally fixed about 2 months later but I felt alot better with my hair not that dark.
Warning it really smells but works. |
I like Manuel at Patrick Segui Salon, McPherson Square, 202-289-1311 |
I last went to Max at AVA Salon on Capitol Hill and was really pleased. 1 month later and the cut still looks great. I think I paid around $65 for the cut so it was not that expensive. I highly recommend Max. |
Inverted bob? Any bob? Is that still on fashion? OP, go for something nicer to make you feel better. |
Pretty sure a bob is a classic. |
OP here. Thanx for the color oops idea, I will try. As for the bob haircut. I am 32 y/o and I have had a bob since my teens. It is the most flatering haicut for my face shape and I always get compliments on it. I also think a bob haircut is an all-time classic. Victoria Beckham did not put that in style, it already was. |
