| Going with family next week and ILs have graciously agreed to watch our kids so DH and I can go out for the evening. What’s a nice place with good views and delicious food for date night? Creative cocktail options a plus! |
|
We have a house there. Nunzios is the popular one, good but spectacular. Jane in Shelter cove is good if you like more of he CA cafe vibe. To get dressed up and not be out of place Chophouse 119 also in Shelter Cove.
We also like grabbing drinks and apps at quarter deck in Harbor Town. Best piece of advice I can give you, keep your expectations low. |
| I’d drive to Savannah. As much as I love Hilton Head, you don’t go there for the food. |
| Alexander’s in Pametto Dunes. Agree to keep expectations low. |
| We like Coast in Sea Pines |

Benny Hudson’s just opened. Looks very nice from web but have not eaten there yet. For creative cocktails you could leave the island and go to palmetto bluff, but then likely only one drink for driver as it’s 30min?
At Palmetto bluff, the very nice restaurant is The River House which has a bar/ speak easy below. |
| Correcting…it is Bennys Coastal Kitchen! |
| The Frosty Frog Cafe |
| Ugh…Hilton Head, really?!? You can do better than that. |
NP also in HH now. Any good recommendations for Savannah (for families)? |
Vics and the Grey |
What is wrong with Hilton Head. |
We loved our trip to Hilton Head over the summer...our first time ever...but...yes. This! We did our research, but still found the places we went to pretty "meh." |
Agreed... try The Grey in Savannah. There is plenty of pretty good food in HH, but it is more Sea Shack or family vibe than date night vibe. |
