To avoid awkward conversations but educate my kid at the same time, what's a good book for a tween kid about puberty, hormonal changes, their newfound feelings, family life etc.
If course if they have questions after I would be there but just trying to make it easier for them and me first. |

Guy Stuff is pretty good. Covers all of the things you mentioned plus hygiene, nutrition and friendships.
Life Skills Every Tween Should Know is another good one. It covers a wider variety of things aimed at becoming more independent (for example, simple dishes to cook yourself). |
| Pp here. I should add: the conversations are always going to be awkward but they are still necessary. The books help but there is no substitute for the discussion. |
