How to find a personal chef?

Anyone have suggestions on how to find a personal chef for our family of 5 for 3-4 nights for a couple of months? Both parents work fulltime and we’d love to find someone who can shop, prep, cook and clean up in our house. TIA

First decide what your needs really are. What you are asking for will be quite expensive, as you’re asking someone to shop, come to your house, cook, clean up after cooking so let’s say it’s an 1 hour for shopping, 2 hours to prepare a meal and clean up, so you’re looking at least at 4 hours every evening. At a minimal $25 per hour, that’s 100$ per evening. Are you really willing to pay 300-400$ per week + groceries? If you’re willing to pay that, then fine, if not, then adjust your expectations. Frankly, at this amount, might as well order from restaurants.

Find someone who can follow your recipes and cook for you from ingredients preparing 2-3 meals to consume during the week. The person can come 1-2 times, but this will reduce the need for person to drive and reduce time needed for shopping.

In any case on how to find, look at the internet, search this site, this is a recurrent question and there were recommendations, and best, ask your neighbors or next door / list serve / Facebook group if there is anyone looking for extra hours and May be willing to cook.
