| Which one would you buy? It was recommended I try dark soy sauce but regular stores don't have it, and ordering off Amazon is going to be easier for me than going to a specalty store. A link would be great. Thank you! |

This is what I buy: Pearl River Bridge superior dark soy sauce.

I can't get to an asian store. Buying online is the way to go for me with this. Thanks! |
| Try using tamari sauce instead! |
| I buy it from Wholefoods on River Rd. |
| Isn't soy sauce always dark? |
+1 for Pearl River Bridge. Not too much of a molasses undertone like I’ve gotten in others. |
| I buy it from Weee! online. I can’t read the name because it is in Korean? (Maybe?) |
Oh, I buy the one that has sold like 1,000+ bottles that week. I do this for all my Asian condiments. If it is bought by that many people it is probably authentic and good. |
+1 |
LOL no Yes, the color in light soy sauces is dark but dark color is not what OP is asking for that is not what "dark soy sauce means" Dark refers to a type of soy sauce in taste and ingredients it is made out of. |
| Regular stores? It's at every Asian store. |
Same. I use the same brand for both my light and dark soy. |
Dark soy is a little thicker and a tiny bit sweet. It makes sauces really dark, rich brown color. It’s different from regular soy sauce. |
