ADHD Parent Group in/near Arlington

Hi! I am looking for an ADHD Parent Group in the Arlington area. I searched online and the only link was to a Burke group and an old Yahoo Group.

We’ve been doing the ADHD parent thing solo, with trouble finding counseling and support post-2020. (Prior to 2020 we had an amazing counseling and OT that coordinated meetup but has since stopped).

We (mainly me) could really use some help from BTDT parents or others going through it. It’s so isolating right now and I know we need something for our mental health and also our DC’s.

Not sure I have great suggestions but wanted to say I empathize.

NAMI Basics includes ADHD as one of the mental illnesses discussed in the 6 week program. It was helpful to me since ADHD often comes with anxiety or depression.

Chesapeake Center is ADHD focused and has parent training and counseling and they have a parents of ADHD group. They're not in Arlington and I don't know if groups are in person or online
