Offered in several locations and several weeks? Concerned with the level being all of the place and not good? Thoughts?
My boss's son worked at those camps during the summer. As I understand it, the levels were all over the place. The camps are probably fun, but I don't think you should expect this to be an "elite" level camp.
Previous discussions of the DC United camp were mixed at best with its a regular camp for the U-littles to way to hot for the later camps to there was a cameo by one DC United affiliated player guest coaching for an hour. I think its gear toward beginner and mid-level players, with a fun emphasis.
Above assessments are accurate. If your kid is a first team player, it will definitely not be high level enough. It is fun though according to my kids when they went a few years ago.
My son went to one awhile ago. It was basically a Headfirst-run camp with the DC United name and logo licensed. Maybe things have changed, but if not, avoid at all costs.
