enough sex already!

We're not very regular sex people - more like once a week sex people. I know my husband has always assumed that was my fault and that we'd have a lot more sex if it was up to him. But we've been TTC for about 8 mos now, and of course that means having more sex packed into some prime days. This cycle, I'm determined to at least make sure it's not for lack of trying each and every day that we should. Funny thing is, even my husband sort of sighed last night, like "ugh, ok, let's do it again, even though we could just eat ice cream and read in bed..." - ha! Guess it wasn't just me afterall!

The situation sounds familar to me. My husband kept tellling how he could not wait to start "practicing" for a baby, but when it came down to it, he kept complaining how tired he was to have sex every day. We lost a year as a result until I put him on Maca supplements to increase his libido. Still three years later no baby by the way (turns out his sperm has all kinds of issues), so we are going through fertility treatments.

I'm envious that couples can just "jump in" and time the sex when they wish. I'm struggling with penetration/libido troubles, so having the ability to have intercourse at the right time I think is such a blessing. So, even though I'm diligently trying to monitor my ovulation, it means nothing when nothing ends up happening, as it were.

Oh, it's not so much just jumping in - feels pretty forced and awkward. But it does go from start to end, so I guess it's not as bad as it can be. Good luck to you!

PP here, Thanks. Yes, at the minimum, I'd wish to be able to at the least first begin, even if feels awkward, etc.
