Dr. Michael Anchors

What happened to him? I got a letter in the mail saying he is no longer practicing. Does anyone else in the area prescribe phen pro?

It said he stopped on Nov. I don’t know why but if you went regularly, wouldn’t u hve known this?

Semaglutides probably put him out of business. He was retirement age anyway. And had a history of heart trouble. Do hope he’s okay.

He seemed nice enough but he wasn’t attentive enough for me—didn’t take blood pressure for example, which should always be monitored with phen. Anyway, phen pro is a quick fix. When you stop it, the weight always comes back and then some. Plus terrible side effects. I’m planning to try compounded semaglutide.

Quirky man. I found his conviction that exercise is bad for you strange.

I believe I’ve seen phen pro mentioned on other threads, prescribed by weight loss clinics in the area.

BeLite and Dr Rivas mentioned on other threads. No direct experience.

I also got the letter and am concerned something happened to him. I hope someone is able to provide some information on how he is doing.

He signed the letter so I’m guessing he’s okay.

- he was strange and advocated stopping high cholesterol meds.

He did not believe that exercise was “bad for you.” He said there was little evidence that it helps you lose weight, which is true.

And that is after leads to overeating because you are hungry or think you deserve it for exercising.

Accurate.

It's really, really important to exercise. And there is evidence that it can help you maintain weight loss. But it doesn't really help the average person lose weight at all.

No, he attributed his heart attack directly to jogging. Said walking was okay but not jogging.

I didn’t agree with a lot of his takes on health/weight loss, but I agree with the others, I hope he’s ok.

I'm very concerned about him. He was a casual friend and my emails have gone unanswered

I was last in to see him in October. I first went to see him at some point just before the pandemic.

I was somewhat taken aback by how much he’d seemed to have aged, he seemed fragile and he and his speech has noticeably slowed.

Aging is not for the faint of heart. He’s a smart guy. Interesting to talk to and I hope he’s enjoying his retirement.
