We have a few streaming services. I have a watchlist on each one. Usually I'll open up each and kind of scroll through my lists until something jumps out at me. How do you select what to watch?
New hot releases? What are you in the mood for at that moment (drama, action, comedy)? Like to pick a series and watch it beginning to end? Like to have several things going at once? Watch a bunch of shows or movies with the same actor or director? Try to watch things before they leave at the end of the month? Alternate comedy and drama? Or TV and movie? Do you check out the "hubs" on each service? Things you watch alone vs things you watch with someone else? |

I Skype with a friend in the UK and we compare notes and make wishlists.
I hang out on Kanopy. At the end of the month I spend the remaining tickets on a few series. I still reserve DVDs at the library to watch the DVD extras. Sometimes I do a catalogue search at the library on a certain actor or director, then do a mini film festival. |
| Check out the Criterion Closet on YouTube to find recommendations from famous actors. |
| I only typically have two at once, and I rotate, do free trials, cancel...so whatever is new to me at the time I get the specific service. |

We alternate:
Movie Comedy night ( four 30 mins shows, not necessarily comedy) Movie Drama night (two 60 minute shows) Repeat So at any time we have six shows going. Occasionally add in sporting events, award shows, standup specials, etc. |
