Date Night Suggestions

I'm 9 months pregnant and we have a sitter for our DS; leading to what will probably be our last date night for quite a while!! I'm struggling with where to go. I'd like to go someplace downtown/dupont/adams morgan area, since it feels more like being "out" to us suburbanites We love italian, steak but could also be swayed to asian/sushi (for DH, must have noodles or something for me).

Will be an early (630ish) Saturday night dinner

Not looking to spend either kids college fund (e.g. Citronella) but willing to splurge a little on a nice night out (e.g. Palm).

I had a really great steak at Bobby Van's recently, and there's often easy parking near McPherson square on weekends. Have had good Italian at Potenza and Bibiana recently, and love the Cajun food and good service at Acadiana. I also really love Corduroy, but haven't been to their new space yet. You could do Ten Penh if your hubby wants asian - check the menu online to see if they have any noodle-y goodness for you.

I think Acqua closed a few months ago, for the earlier PP - the space on Penn Ave has been empty for awhile now. (shame - I always meant to try it.)
