Bitcoin or NVIDIA?

Which is the wiser investment for a 51 year old for retirement at 60-65?

Why not both? Take out a margin loan and double up.

Take out a home equity loan and put it all into Bitcoin. Let us know how it works out.

Both are a bubble.

I'm not sure about holding NVIDIA for 10+ years. Maybe 5 or so.

Buy the most Bitcoin you can afford and don't check it until 2032.

I think you missed the buy window

You do know that Bitcoin has cycles, right. You got to do your homework. You would have got into Bitcoin long time ago had you taken the time to learn about it.
It is not too late, but get out when it's time to get out. And then in again when it's time time to get in and out again.
If it's too complicated, buy something else.

Wiser? I don’t think you have begun to even approach the foothills of wisdom…

I love how people toute how BTC has cycles, like a true cyclic industry where consumers purchase more goods as demand changes with weather, economic growth, etc.

Calling pump-and-dump by BTC whales “cyclical” is really misrepresenting.

Can you cryptobros go back to r/wsb?

Define “wiser”.

Bitcoin is too volatile. All nvda is too. I’d put your funds in a low cost S&P 500 index fund. You’ll match the S&P 500 returns… plus nvda is in there.

Call it pump and dump. Catch the pump and then dump it.

Ask mid 2025. I'm $40k up on one coin alone. I sold the useless condo. Equity loan was too much trouble.
