It appears there are more cars on the lot or coming than in previous years at least for BMW X3. If a car is on the lot, how much off MSRP can you get - asking anybody that has bought the X3 or other BMW on the lot. |
FYI - an all new X3 hits the market either later this year or early next year. |
Yep, I’d hold off until the new models start showing up. They’ll have much more incentive to deal then. |
Understand but for others that have bought a model on the lot, is 5% of MSRP reasonable? The problem with waiting once the new ones come out, is that very few with the exact options needed will be available. |
I think the current model looks better. |
I got a huge deal on an X5 that was sitting on a dealer’s lot. Play the dealers off each other, works every time. The dealer with the car just sitting on the lot is motivated and he is going to break and make a deal with you. |
What kind of deal did you get? |
A car broker offered me 8% off MSRP on an 2024 X5. On LeaseHackr, some people get as much to 10% off MSRP. Not sure what discounts are for X3s but you can go there and research. |
Do you have to sign up for an account on LeaseHackr? |
+1 - Is huge deal 15% off MSRP? Did you email the dealerships or deal with a person at each dealership and let them know about deals at another dealership? |
You only have to sign up for an account if you want to post questions or send messages to other members. You don’t need one to search the archive and read past posts. |
Thanks for information. What dealership do you recommend using? |
We had a great experience with Passport BMW in Suitland. Super easy to work with and their financing rate was the best we could find. |
The X3 is tiny. Get an X5 if you want an suv. Unless you’re a single person with no pets. |
Don't offer a price using MSRP as a reference. Instead, solicit bids from many dealers for the vehicle equipped as you want it. The more dealers you contact, the more responses you'll receive, although not every dealer will bid for your business. Don't include any discussion of financing or about a trade-in, just ask for each dealer's best out-the-door price, with all fees, so you're comparing apples to apples. |
