How many 7th grade Algebra 1 H classes are at Longfellow?

Any idea of how many classes for 7th grade and how many kids per class?

Why?

If it's like the other middle schools, there is no 7th grade Algebra class. It's 7th and 8th Algebra Honors. And class size really depends on enrollment and class mix that year - which courses need the extra sections, it could be small or could be larger (middle school math teacher at a different FCPS middle school).

Run the SOL scores for the school and include 7th grade algebra. See how many kids took the Algebra SOL, that tells you how many kids. Assume that there are between 20-30 kids in each math class and you can guesstimate the number of classes.

Google VDOE SOL scores and look at that page.

Actually most schools separate 7/8 graders. They only combine when there isn’t a critical mass of 7th graders.
